Life, Interrupted: Leading in a Digital Age
The online tools at our disposal (although brilliant for connecting with customers and each other) are built on algorithms specifically designed to interrupt. These widely used tools tie us to disruption that's coming at an increasing cost.
Science has delivered many a cautionary testimony of detrimental effects of interruption on our performance, yet within our work and our lives, we experience the serious push and pull of the digital age from both ends.
So, whether you're ready to unplug or believe social technology is the future, Theresa will facilitate a stimulating discussion on what this all means for us. She'll be joined by three awesome members Emily Miller-Sharma of Ruby, Mimi Gilmour (Burger Burger) and Marnie Hillier (Ms Marnie to share their views – and we hope you’ll add yours in too.
We love these sessions for the intimacy and awesome conversations that this format makes possible and the incredible outcomes this facilitates for each of us. This is possible only because of the calibre of women we have in our community, a killer combo of smart, savvy, gritty and generous.

ABOUT IGNITE LEADER SERIES
We’re fortunate to live in a time and place where opportunity abounds, a time when many women have come to the forefront, risen to the top and who are making that place count in a range of important ways.
IGNITE gathers together these women; the game-changers whose endeavours have altered industries, impacted economies, provided employment for many and who lever their commercial gains into philanthropic endeavours to make the biggest difference possible.
Importantly, IGNITE fills an often missing space in our female journey – the ability to spend quality, intimate time with experienced women to learn, often in awe, from the gutsy trailblazing journey that has been theirs. Queens one and all. How lucky are we?
Most of all, IGNITE facilitates an intimate environment so we can make meaningful connections, be inspired and add the weight of our experience to make a bigger difference.
Hosted by outgoing board Chair, now patron, Theresa Gattung, each IGNITE gathering features an interview and discussion with one of our most experienced members and is followed by discussion and questions.
