Founded by Co.OfWomen in 2012, 2023 sees The New Zealand Hall of Fame for Women Entrepreneurs - Te whare Whakahōnore i ngā Rakahinonga Wāhine o Aotearoa - enter its 12th year and with it, the induction of three more women, bringing the total number of current inductees to 37.
The Hall of Fame creates explicit examples of women's entrepreneurial success, doing 4 important jobs:
- Normalise success as a possibility for others
- Offer encouragement to those working on their own
- Create accessible examples of successful women
- Demonstrate diversity of success
Cocktail Function
The ceremony is followed by an opportunity to toast the success of our inductees and ourselves and time to congratulate them personally.
