Believe in yourself and be confident in what you are doing; there will always be people who criticise and challenge you, and some may want you to fail. You have to be your own biggest cheerleader.

Understand what your competitive advantage is. Even if it’s only a small unique feature, you need to have something that will make clients choose you over your competitors, again and again.

Choose to deal with and work with only those people who share your values. When you spend your working life with people who care about the same things as you, then it doesn’t feel like work.
