We’re fortunate to live in a time and place where opportunity abounds, a time when many women have come to the forefront, risen to the top and who are making that place count in a range of important ways.

IGNITE gathers together these women; the game changers whose endeavours have altered industries, impacted economies, provided employment for many and who lever their commercial gains into philanthropic endeavours to make the biggest difference possible.

Importantly, IGNITE fills an often missing space in our female journey – the ability to spend quality, intimate time with experienced leaders to learn from the gutsy trailblazing journey they have undertaken.

Most of all, IGNITE facilitates an intimate environment so we can make meaningful  connections, be inspired and add the weight of our experience also to make a bigger difference.

Hosted by Co.OfWomen senior leaders in our community, each IGNITE gathering features an interview and discussion with one of experienced members and is followed by time of discussion and questions.

Co.OfWomen founder, Tara Lorigan, will chat with Frances Valintine CNZM about success habits and changing the world – female style.

Frances is an entrepreneur, educator and technologist who is focused on the future of work, skills and technologies. For over 20 years she has been dedicated to shifting education and business practice to develop the capabilities needed to respond to the future.

She founded both her current organisations The Mind Lab and Tech Futures Lab as Aotearoa’s first private graduate schools for professionals focused on developing their confidence in technologies, transformation change, organisational resilience and new forms of leadership.  These institutes have grown significantly over the past nine years to become leading institutes in Australasia.

More recently, Frances was approached to write a book and Future You is the resulting, riveting book she has penned. This session will be an opportunity for leaders to engage in a conversation about our collective responsibility and the impact we can have in our time.

The value of these sessions is sometimes in the topics we discuss but it is always in the quality of the attendees and the ease of connection this facilitates with truly remarkable women.
