She built a stonking career in the FMCG sector, co-founded a hugely loved brand she sold and then decided to start all over again, in a completely different sector.
Maree's early stage career saw her immersed in the FMCG (grocery) sector going on to hold senior marketing roles and working on world leading brands.
From here she became co-founder of the epic brand I love Pies. It's an enterprise she started with her friend and together made many families happy with their special blend of old fashioned fare.
They sold that business in 2019 and Maree took some well deserved down time, enjoying a trip of a lifetime with her partner and two pre-teen kids. That is until the global pandemic altered that plan.
Life's like that isn't it, surprising and as an entrepreneur Maree has learned to roll with those surprises.
With the benefit of some of that down time Maree's interest was captured in a completely different place. Now mum to a pre-teen young lady, she was amazed that there was literally no brand that addressed their needs. And that became the driver behind her latest, about to launch skincare brand Evre.
So it's back to the beginning and she's feeling the familiar vulnerability that every new risk will awake in us. Fortunately, she now knows that her job is to learn not to know, and we can't wait to hear what she's going to add to our learning.
